Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
Senate Bill 75, Public Act 101-0221 was signed into law by Governor Pritzker in August 2019. Under this Act, Illinois employers are required to train employees on sexual harassment prevention by December 31, 2024, and on an annual basis thereafter. PCA contractors can use the current model training provided (at no cost) by the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) by clicking here. ERS: Well-Being. Done Well.
PCA-affiliated contractors can gain free access to the services and online resources of Employee Resource Systems –ERS (as well as its Employer/Member Assistance programs – EAP/MAP listed below). ERS is the service provider responsible for administering crucial evaluation, counseling and follow-up to our “Drug Free Alliance Program. Moreover, as a contractor covered by the PCA’s union contract, you and your employees who do not belong to the union also are welcome to utilize ERS’ many available services and programs sponsored on your behalf by the PCA. In addition, your Plumbers Local 130 member employees enjoy numerous ERS benefits as part of Local 130’s Welfare Fund-sponsored offerings, including: Drug Free Alli-ance Follow Up; Online Seminars; Workplace “Time Management” Courses; Education Services; Older Adult Services; Resources for Veterans; Child Care Services; and more. Reminder: all Illinois employers must provide all employees with Illinois compliant sexual harassment training annually (before December 31 of each year). This training – including a certificate issued after completion – is available to PCA contractors through ERS. Visit the ERS website at www.mylifeexpert.com/ for the no-cost training, and use the code pcaeap to create or log into your profile. The Plumbing Industry's
